Welcome to the year of 2010

Happy New Year everyone! How's your new year celebration? Mine was great. It was my first time to celebrate new year here in The Philippines. My family and I were happy to see so many fireworks right in front of our house lighted by our neighbors. It's our first time to see fireworks so near like that. We just had to stand in front of our gate and we could see so many kinds of fireworks and firecrackers. My son was scared but he loved the fireworks show. My daughter was sleeping so well when the fireworks show happened. She didn't even move an inch though the fireworks made so much noise.

Looks like this year will be a busy year for me and my husband. My husband had to start the year with his overseas assignment, and I started my year with trips to hospital. My son had a bacterial infection on his tummy. He vomited so much and he couldn't eat or drink at all. So, he had to get some drips inserted into his body. Thank God he recovered in 3 days.

After my son recovered, my daughter caught some terrible sore throat. Until now she hasn't recovered yet. I also have to run errands to my husband doing some minor things because he really has no time to do anything else. His mind always thinks about his work, office, and people at work. Many times my children and I don't see him at all the whole day because he will leave house for work very early morning before we wake up and will come home when everyone is already asleep. Rather than complaining too much, it's better for me to help him. Positive thinking as always...:)

I will return with more stories when I have more time. Now I have to go to wet market to buy some fishes.

Have a great year this year everyone!
